  Cant even ask for assistance was told to get in line at the front of the store to get help. Go back to the back to wait for help. No one ever showed. Ask someone else who pointed in a general direction I already looked. Absolutely would not show me where to look. Then told were sold out just so they didnt have to walk to that section. Really?

  I go to Lowe's over Home Depot because of the great customer service and I've left positive reviews stating such. Today, on the other hand, I went in to spend a few hundred bucks on some blinds for my French doors and a few other items. The blinds were on the top shelf so I went to the desk to get help and nobody was there. No big deal. I pushed the button for help and about every minute, the recording broadcasting to the entire store said, "assistance needed at the millwork desk." Three times, employees came to the desk and asked if I needed help as they turned off the recording. I explained and the first 2 said somebody would be there to help me shortly. After a couple more minutes, I pushed the button again just to get the same response. The last guy actually said he'd be back to help me but he didn't return. I pushed the button again but nobody ever came. I went to customer service and explained. She said somebody would be there shortly and I told her I've already been told that several times. I said I was just going to go to Home Depot to see if they'd help me and the girl laughed at me. I've never felt so unwanted at a business like that. I recently bought a heavy duty wagon (yard cart) from Lowe's. Get it home and open the box to find a bunch of junk from a yard sale. Still had masking tape homemade price tags on the junk. I guess they don't check returns before putting them back on the shelf. It was the only one in stock so I had to go to Home Depot to buy one. I've been a regular customer at Lowe's since they opened. It seems to be on a steady decline recently.
